Instead of exchanging gifts this year, Mike, Nick and I had a “night out” in Minneapolis to celebrate Christmas just before we each went our separate ways mid December.

We went to see the 3D film “A Christmas Carol”, the adaptation of Charles Dicken’s classic, starring Jim Carrey.  It was fun (can’t remember when I last put 3D glasses on!) –and carried a very timely message.  Highly recommended!

As the heat, fires and floods rage “Down Under” and as the bitter cold and snow blanket and bury the northern part of America, we remember  those who consequently suffer quietly to get their homes and lives back together.  We also remember the chronically homeless world wide, the unemployed, and refugees hoping  that through our small efforts to be generous, all on earth will  have a better 2010.  Happy New Year everyone!
